All about hair

Hello lovely people,

What a lovely long weekend!
I had lots of fun walking in the sunshine, designing wedding stationary with a friend and making/eating what I consider to be the best pudding ever...behold the sticky toffee cheesecake...

I was going to do a spot of gardening yesterday morning but an enormous (2 inch thick!) bamboo pole fell on me, leaving a nasty gash under my eyebrow and requiring me to lie down with an ice pack for a bit :-(
Bamboo pole 1: Kat 0
Dr. Hubby was a star and planted out the many cannas all by himself!

Sadly, it's back to work for me today but of course it's time for a new challenge at Top Tip Tuesday and our theme this time is...

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE HAIR COLOUR

We have The East Wind as our lovely sponsor for this challenge and they are offering 3 images to the winner.

I've kept my card fairly CAS since the image is so beautiful and detailed.

I have wanted to colour up this gorgeous image for a while and this was the perfect opportunity since I had 2 lots of hair to colour!

Card recipe;
DP: XOXO - American Crafts (pink stripy) and Yours Truly - Pebbles (turquoise spotty)

Copic colours;
Skin: E000/00/21/11/04 & R20
Hair: R81/85/RV19
Eyes: B91/93
Wings: T0/2
Unicorn: T0/1/3/4/5

I hope you will pop over to Top Tip Tuesday and check out the fabulously creative projects from the rest of the team and there are some great tips for you too :-)

  1. Ouch, hope you are ok. Gorgeous colouring, stunning colours. You have introduced me to Clearly Besotted dies after I saw your notebook edger. Couldn't believe the price of their dies and postage, so reasonable, bought that one and a wave edger. Thanks fir all your lovely comments xx

  2. Wow, Kat, this is stunning!!! LOVE the colour combo, and although the unicorn's mane and tail are fabulous, I am lost for enough words to describe the fairy's hair!!!!

    You are such a 'silly-billy' for letting that pole whack you like that (naughty pole), and I hope you are not left with a scar.

    Big hugs,
    Jennifer. x
